Champ Camp was once again a success. There were about 75 or so who participated in the training.
In module one of Total Station training the students learn to setup an instrument, a backsight. How to center and level the instrument. How to occupy a point. What complimentary gear is required and they learn to move the instrument form one place to another, or as I like to say, "extend the coordinate system."

A group of folks learning to appreciate the art of setting up an Instrument!

Nancy, she is always fun!

A result of volleyball. Ross, can't keep a good man down; he was not going to miss an opportunity to hone his TS skills!

I was relegated to "the guy that carries the chair for Ross".

Meagan gives surveying a thumbs up, and Martin agrees!

I forgot his name, an OSU grad student, who's wife Jen kicked my butt at ping pong. It was still fun!
